Blaze from garage fire damages three nearby homes

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) – Roanoke City firefighters put out a blazing garage fire Sunday in the 1500 block of 8th Street SE.
It happened around 2 p.m. Firefighters say the garage was a detached building that was fully involved in flames when they arrived.
Three nearby homes, two fences and a car were damaged during the fire. The estimated cost of damage is approximately $3,800.
No one was injured.The cause of the fire is still being determined.
