LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - A Liberty University student has died while completing an internship in Indonesia.
Timothy Adams drowned after being caught in strong currents in the ocean.

The university says that Adams helped to save others before he was swept away in the current.
A search and rescue mission was conducted, but crews were not able to save him.
"Our deepest sympathies go out to Timothy's family and friends," President Jerry Falwell said. "All who knew and loved Timothy are in our hearts and prayers. Timothy was clearly living as a Champion for Christ. By all accounts, his death was simply a tragic accident."
