Roanoke fire leaves four without a home

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) – Four people are without a home after an early morning fire in Roanoke.

The E911 center received a call on Saturday at 3:41 a.m. about the fire in the 3900 block of South Lake Drive.

When crews arrived, everyone inside had evacuated.

The house sustained heavy fire, smoke and water damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Damage is estimated at $175,000.

It took crews about an hour and a half to get the fire under control.
