(WSLS 10) - Wythe County Schools holds a meeting with parents and the community tonight about radon levels in schools. Levels were tested in all classrooms in the county. Three classrooms at Spiller Elementary and two at Speedwell Elementary were found to have levels above 4, which means the gas needs to be mitigated. The works has been complete at Spiller, while work continues at Speedwell. Tonight's meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the gym at George Wythe High School.

Radford University hosts percussive dance group "step Afrika!" tonight. The group is the first professional company dedicated to tradition stepping. The event is free and begins tonight at eight at Bondurant Auditorium.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission will hold a public meeting about the Atlantic Coast Pipeline today. The commission is taking comments about the draft Environmental Impact Statement it issued last year. According to the statement, the pipeline would result in temporary and permanent environmental impacts, some being adverse. But, the report says that the plan minimizes the effects. The meeting starts at 6:30 at Nelson County High School.
