Abused dogs rescued by Angels of Assisi making progress, but more foster homes needed

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Workers at Angels of Assisi, who rescued 30 dogs from a hoarding case in West Virginia, said the dogs are making good progress.

So far, four dogs have been adopted, four are in foster homes and four are ready for adoption.

The remaining 18 are still in need of care.

Workers said they're hopeful that more people will offer to serve as foster families while the dogs continue to recover.
