Naming rights for Elmwood Park could be up for sale

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - The name-sake of Elmwood Park could be up for grabs.

Roanoke City council will go into a closed session meeting on Tuesday to discuss the possible sale of naming rights in one or more publicly owned facilities including Elmwood Park.

According to Roanoke City Council's agenda, naming rights for locations along Jefferson Street, Franklin Road and the right-of way of Bullitt Avenue could also go up for sale.

The city council meeting starts at 2 p.m.
