Christiansburg, Cave Spring 1-2 in 3A Wrestling Standings

Salem (WSLS-10 Sports)- Christiansburg is on track to record at 16th consecutive state wrestling crown. They currently lead area rival Cave Spring 154.5 to 123 heading into Saturday's final day of competition. Consolation finals and the Championship finals remain. Meanwhile, Rural Retreat is dominating the 1A ranks with a 160.5 to 131 lead over Riverheads.  Grundy leads the 2A ranks with 145 total points, with Strasburg second at 99.5. Finally Eastern View leads the 4A ranks, with Liberty Christian the highest ranked local team, standing in 6th place. In the 5A tournament, Patrick Henry is having a strong showing. The Patriots are currently 4th.
