Lynchburg police charge man with having child pornography

LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - Lynchburg police arrested and charged a 25-year-old man on Valentine's Day with multiple counts of possessing child pornography.

In January, police began investigating the online sharing of child pornography within the city limits. During the investigation, police obtained a search warrant and executed it at a residence in the Fort Avenue area.

During the course of the investigation, Kyoungho Lee, a Korean national who is currently in the United States on a Student Visa, was identified as the possible suspect.

On Tuesday, he was arrested without incident and charged with five counts of possessing child pornography.

He is currently being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail in Lynchburg with no bond.
