Chris Hurst running for seat in Virginia’s House of Delegates

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) – Former Roanoke news anchor Chris Hurst will be running for a seat in Virginia’s House of Delegates.

Two sources in the Democratic Party confirmed to WSLS 10 that Hurst will be running for the 12th District seat currently held by Republican Delegate Joseph Yost. That district covers the city of Radford as well as Giles County and parts of Montgomery County.

When contacted by WSLS 10, Hurst would not confirm his candidacy, but said he would be making an announcement over the weekend.
