UPDATE: Authorities say Barbara Morrison has been found and is safe.
STAUNTON (WSLS 10) – A Senior Alert has been issued for a woman who's been missing since Saturday. The Staunton Police Department is looking for Barbara A. Morrison, an 82-year-old woman who was last seen on Saturday, February 4 at 508 Ellendin Avenue in Staunton.

According to Virginia State Police, who issued the alert, the missing senior suffers from a cognitive impairment and the disappearance poses a credible threat to her health and safety.
Morrison is described as a white female, 82 years of age and stands 5'2", weighing 125 lbs. Morrison has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a red shirt, dark pants, black jacket, and has a black purse.
She drove away in a silver 2009 Nissan Sentra Sedan with Virginia license plates YDP-5608. Police say they aren't sure about where she could be traveling.
She is from the Alexandria, Virginia area and has been located previously in the Elkton.
