GRETNA (WSLS 10) – Two juveniles are scheduled to appear in court on Monday after being charged in connection the fire set at Gretna High School earlier this month.
The two each face one count of arson and one count of property damage, causing in excess of $1,000.
The fire was reported to the 911 Center at about noon on Sunday, December 4.
Firemen contained the fire to the boy’s bathroom located in the boy’s locker room of the school, although the gymnasium sustained smoke damage.
There were no injuries reported due to the fire.
At this time, the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office does not anticipate any other arrests.
