Three killed in morning fire in Gladys

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) – Three people were killed in an early morning fire. Crews responded to the 5400 block of Marysville Road in Gladys around 2:45 Sunday morning. According to officials, when crews arrived, a mobile home was engulfed in flames.

Firefighters were able to put the fire out and go into the mobile home. Officials say crews then found the bodies of three people. Authorties were not able to tell the age or sex of the victims because they were too badly burned.

Officials are waiting on a medical examiner’s report for identification of the victims. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
