SALEM (WSLS-10 SPORTS)-UW-Oshkosh's first ever trip to the Stagg bowl took longer than they were expecting-by nearly an entire day. Coach Pat Cerroni explained that plane trouble turned a Tuesday arrival into a Wednesday scurry ahead of the game's scheduled media day.
" No doubt about it the plane didn't work so it had a flat tire and we had to unload everybody and go back home for the night and then come back today. So it has nothing to do with Salem and the people here, it was just you know it happened. A mechanical issue--it's no one's fault. We're just going to adjust and try to figure it out ," explained Cerroni.
Wisconsin-Oshkosh will face Mary Hardin Baylor in the annual Division III national championship game on Friday night at Salem Stadium.
