Virginia Tech talks Razorbacks ahead of Belk Bowl

BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10 SPORTS) - After the ACC championship the Virginia Tech football team had a break from the grind as the coaches were out recruiting. Now that they're back, the attention turns to Arkansas in the Belk bowl.

"Watching them on film, they're incredibly talented. Their offense has one of everything. In terms of all SEC tailback, quarterback that's a coaches son that's prolific and accurate and great in anticipation. And big wide receivers and big offensive lineman," said Hokies head coach Justin Fuente.

"I watched the Missouri game and the Florida game. Pretty big offensive line and they like running the ball and do a lot of play action off the run so we just have to do a good job, they're just a very big physical team," said defensive end Ken Ekanem.

The season finale against Arkansas will mark the first SEC opponent the Hokies have seen since the Battle at Bristol against Tennessee in week two.

Offensive lineman Augie Conte explained, " We've looked at them some. Obviously they're an SEC team and they have a lot of good talent down there, they're kind of like us. They've been in and out of the rankings all year so it'll definitely be a fun game."

The Belk Bowl is December 29th in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kickoff is 5:30 pm.
