Citing court documents, KMOV in St. Louis reported Jordan beat his wife, put a gun to her head and threatened to kill her. He also dragged her back inside by her hair when she tried to run away.

Authorities said the couple's 3-year-old child was locked in a room for hours while the assault, starting Monday night, occurred.

Police were notified after the UPS driver picked up a package from the home with the message "Contact 911" written on it.

Jordan, 33, was booked into jail on $100,000 bond.

He faces charges of domestic assault, sodomy, felonious restraint, unlawful use of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.
