DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - Danville police say a 20-year-old man was shot on Monday afternoon.
At about 3:39 p.m., police responded to the Danville Regional Medical Center in reference to a gunshot victim.
When they arrived at the hospital, police found a man who had a single gunshot wound to a his lower extremity. The injury was non-life threatening.
Police say the shooting happened in the 400 block of Chatelaine Avenue in Danville.
The investigation is ongoing.
