ROANOKE (WSLS 10)- Roanoke's Virginia Cooperative Extension office is offering a hands on workshop on new ideas for budget friendly gifts.
The session is being held Thursday, December 8th at 5:30p.m. in the LEAP Kitchen at 1210 Patterson Avenue SW.
The workshop will include instruction on home preservation techniques for jams and jellies as well as mixes for soups, spices, and baked goods.
A $15 dollar registration fee is required, which will allow attendees to take home several completed jars.
