ALLEGHANY COUNTY (WSLS 10) - Authorities said a hunter who went missing has been located. Crews were searching for the man near Rumsey Road Saturday night. Alleghany County Sheriff Kevin Hall said the man was located in the woods. Hall said hunters had last seen the man around 4 p.m. Saturday as he was asking for directions. Police believe the man got turned around and lost in the woods.
As of 9:30p.m. crews were sending an ATV to transport the victim from the location. Hall says the man was found about 3 to 4 miles away from his vehicle.
