ORLANDO (WSLS 10) - Hours before the ACC championship game between Virginia Tech and Clemson, fans flocked outside Camping World Stadium in Orlando, where Hokie fans were relishing the Florida sunshine.

"This is great, it's a lot better then being home because we are out of Norfolk Virginia and it's about 40 degrees there," said Ron Bennington, Virginia Tech fan. "This is much better, 82 is much better than 40."

It's a change of scenery than years past when the conference title game was held in Charlotte. One couple, a relationship divided, with loyalties to opposing teams normally have the game in their back yard. But happily adjusted to the change.

"We both live right in uptown Charlotte so to make the trip has been fun," said Paul Schelor, Virginia Tech fan. "You're out here in shorts celebrating the atmosphere, celebrating Disney."

Their trip was originally planned to watch Clemson play for their second straight ACC crown, but with a Coastal win for the Hokies, it became fun for both sides.

"It was kind of the big joke because I've always said 'we'll go down to Orlando and you can wear Clemson orange and it'll be fine' " said Rachel Holden, Clemson fan. "But low and behold as the season progressed we're going uh oh, there's really a chance that both of our teams are going to be in the game, so here we are."
