Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office collecting donations for fire victims

CHRISTIANSBURG (WSLS 10) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is collecting donations for victims of the devastating fires in Tennessee.

Officers set up in front of Wal-Mart in Christiansburg on Thursday. The Radford Police Department is collecting donations for Tennessee’s first responders. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office collections will go to fire victims.

There is no end date set for the drive. Officers will set up again outside of Wal-Mart starting at 9 a.m. Friday.

List of needed items:

  • Water
  • Gatorade
  • Non-perishable food
  • Blankets
  • Pillows
  • Toiletries
  • Baby wipes
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Diapers
