"They're in my house," Darlow is heard telling 911 dispatch. Police said three suspects tried to force their way into the house, located on Northwest 44th Street and 103nd Terrace. Darlow told the operator the three men parked a blue car in front of his home and knocked on his door.

He then informed the operator that he is armed inside the home. The 911 dispatcher advised the homeowner to not step outside with the weapon.

Moments later, three gun shots are fired. "I killed one, I think," said Darlow. The suspect killed was 21-year-old Albert Eugene Jones.

The homeowner continued to whisper to the operator as he walked to another room. Losing patience, the victim whispered to the operator, "Tell the cops to f***ing hurry."

To Darlow's relief, Sunrise Police arrived quickly and arrested the other two suspects, Curtis Jefferies and Jose Coleman outside the home. Both were charged with burglary and murder while engaging in a felony.

The homeowner will not face any charges.
