The chapter delivered 55 pizzas to Virginia State Police, the Martinsville Police Department and both the Martinsville and Henry County Sheriff's Offices.

Pizza was also delivered in Danville and Pittsylvania County.

"They're on the line every day and we want to show our appreciation, so we declared this day in the state of Virginia our Law Enforcement Recognition Day to thank them for their service," said WoodsmenLife salesman Roger Dodson, after delivering pizzas to the Martinsville Police Department and sheriff's office.

The Christiansburg, Lynchburg, and Roanoke chapters also delivered pizzas to local law enforcement agencies.
