ROANOKE (WSLS 10) – A local nonprofit is organizing a drive to help first responders in Tennessee.

Because We Care Ministries will be set up at the Roanoke Seventh-day Adventist Church on Route 460 on Wednesday at noon.

They’re collecting things like work gloves, Chap Stick, protein bars and non-perishable snacks.

As soon as the truck is full the group will drive it down to Tennessee.
