Hokies beat Wahoos, Retain Commonwealth Cup

BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10 SPORTS) -

In their 98th meeting, Virginia Tech defeated Virginia 52-10 in an impressive regular season final.

Senior Sam Rogers ran for a career best 105 yards and scored two touchdowns, all while wearing the iconic number 25 jersey on senior day. Quarterback Jerod Evans accounted for three touchdowns, two passing and one rushing, on his way to setting a school record for touchdown passes and total yards.

Next for the Virginia Tech is the ACC Championship on December 3rd against Clemson. The two haven't met since 2011, where the Tigers won 38-10.
