Roanoke County Police investigating bank robbery


ROANOKE COUNTY (WSLS 10) – Roanoke County Police are looking for a man wanted in a bank robbery. Police say on Wednesday at 4:21 PM, a blue 4 door vehicle, possibly a 90’s model Honda Civic, pulled up to the front of the Carter Bank and Trust at the intersection of Plantation Road and Hollins Road.

They say the man went into the bank carrying a black backpack and took out what appeared to be a semi automatic style firearm. He got money and got back into the vehicle.  The vehicle was last seen traveling on Hollins Road towards Botetourt.  If anyone has any information they are asked to contact the Roanoke County Police Department at 540-562-3265  This case is still under investigation.
