LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) – WSLS 10 is teaming up with the Lynchburg chapter of Habitat for Humanity, alongside six sponsors, to build a home for a deserving family this holiday season.
2016 marks WSLS 10’s third consecutive Home for the Holidays build.
The build begins on November 29 and the keys to the new home will be turned over to the family on December 15.
The Greater Lynchburg Habitat for Humanity builds houses in partnership with those who have a need, who have a willingness to partner to build and who are also able to sustain mortgage payments.
Thanks to the generosity of the City of Lynchburg and landowners, the organization maintains a property inventory in order to meet the growing needs of families who qualify for Habitat homeownership.
