Pulaski County offering Warming Station through winter months

PULASKI (WSLS 10) - As temperatures feel more like winter in some areas, one man in Pulaski County is making sure everyone has a place to keep warm.

Pastor Charlie Barbettini started what he calls the Warming Station in downtown Pulaski. It is only open when temperatures are 40 degrees or below.

People without reliable shelter can come, have a meal in the evening, a hot shower, clean clothes and a bed. They then receive a meal before they leave in the morning.

The Warming Station runs only on private donations. It can hold both men and women and has had six guests so far this year.
