ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Three people had to be taken to the hospital after a crash involving a school bus on Monday afternoon.
The crash happened at about 3 p.m., according to Scott Leamon with the Roanoke Police Department.
A car ran a red light and hit the bus, which wasn't carrying any kids at the time, according to Leamon.
A teacher's aide on the bus was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Leamon said two children in the car were taken to the hospital with minor injuries and that the driver of the car was issued a summons for disregarding a red light.
