RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe is announcing new grants for eight projects around the state aimed at promoting local entrepreneurs.
McAuliffe announced Wednesday that the state was giving more than $200,000 in grants to local governments, schools and nonprofits that have entrepreneurship programs.

They include the Page County Youth Entrepreneur Program and "The Next" Entrepreneur Hub in Wise County.
The state received 14 applications for grant money.
