ABINGDON (WSLS 10) – Three people from West Virginia have been sentenced in connection to multiple armed robberies across several counties.
Joshua Berry and Emannuel Foster will spend more than 60 years in prison after pleading guilty to armed robbery and gun charges.
Sarah Berry was sentenced to 32 years for her role in the conspiracy.
Prosecutors say they robbed the Abingdon Cine-Mall and the Marquee Cinema in Wytheville in April of 2012.
A month later, they robbed Eddie’s Zip Foods in Mount Airy, North Carolina, where the store owner was shot and killed.
