Henry County Sheriff's Office seizes drugs, guns and vehicles during arrest

HENRY COUNTY (WSLS 10) - The Henry County Sheriff's Office arrested a 32-year-old man on multiple drug counts on Wednesday afternoon.

The sheriff's office executed a search warrant in connection with narcotics trafficking for a home in the 130 block of Berry Hill Court Ext. in Martinsville.

Deputies said they seized cash, narcotics, firearms and vehicles.

Bobby Lee Carter, 32, of Martinsville, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a firearm while in possession of a Schedule I or II Drug, two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted violent felon and one count of possession of Schedule I or II drugs.  All charges are felonies.

Carter is being held in the Henry County Jail without bond.
