Pulaski police make arrest in hit-and-run case

PULASKI (WSLS 10) - One man is behind bars and another is recovering after a hit-and-run in Pulaski on Monday night.

It happened near the 100 block of Altoona Road in Pulaski early Monday evening.

Police say 54-year-old Vincent Jones of Pulaski hit Todd Anders and continued driving.

Anders was airlifted to Roanoke Memorial Hospital with various injuries. As of Tuesday afternoon, he was in stable condition.

Jones was arrested on Tuesday morning on felony hit-and-run charges.

Police said more charges may be pending, as the investigation is still ongoing.

Jones is being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail.
