Maryland Students Walk Out Over Presidential Election Results

(NBC 4) - Students from a Montgomery County, Maryland, high school walked out of classes early Monday morning to protest the presidential election results.

Montgomery County schools spokesman Derek Turner said the protest at Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, Maryland, was planned and expected to remain on campus. However, after gathering on the football field, dozens of students left the school and marched on University Boulevard.

The students headed north on University Boulevard toward Wheaton, Maryland. It is not known where their final location will be.
