ROANOKE (WSLS 10) – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia’s biggest fundraiser was Thursday night.  The Serving the Kids First Dinner celebrated Hope.  Hope that each child has for a future filled with success and opportunity.

It was a great event with performances by some of the kids in the club. They danced, sang, rapped and showed off some of the things they do every day after school at the 9th Street Club. About 150 children in the Roanoke Valley are members annually paying just $15 a month to get tutoring, educational programming and opportunities for art.

WSLS 10’s Jenna Zibton emceed the event.
