Two hurt after overnight shooting in Lynchburg

LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - Two people are hurt after a shooting in Lynchburg.

Police say it happened at about 1:05 on Thursday at 1470 Tenbury Drive.

On arrival, officers found two men (ages 20 and 21) on the ground, in front of a townhouse with multiple gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to Lynchburg General Hospital and are currently in critical condition.

Witnesses said both suspect shooters as black males, 5'9 to 6'0, thin build: one wearing a red hoodie and one wearing a gray hoodie; both wearing jeans.

Both suspects were seen running from the area possibly toward Ashbourne Drive.

At this time, multiple Lynchburg Police Department units are continuing to investigate.
