Fire causes $45,000 in damages to home in Roanoke

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Officials say a fire that happened on Wednesday in Roanoke caused $45,000 in damages to the home.

Fire-EMS say the responded to the 3400 block of Shenandoah Avenue at 10:43 p.m. that night. Crews had the fire under control at 12:07 a.m.

When crews arrived they found heavy smoke in the area of the fire and found a two story home, with smoke pouring from the eaves.

Crew say no one was in the home when the fire started and no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Crews responded to the scene of a fire in the 3400 block of Shenandoah Ave. around 10:45 tonight. Home was under renovation- no injuries. Cause is under investigation.
