Police Investigating Knife Attack at Randolph College

LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - Police say a teen has been hospitalized after a knife attack in Lynchburg.

The Lynchburg Police Department responded to the 2500 block of Rivermont Avenue Monday afternoon to investigate a reported knife attack.

Upon arrival, officers found an 18-year-old male bleeding from multiple lacerations. He was transported to the Lynchburg General Hospital Emergency Department and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

A second 18-year-old male was initially identified as a person of interest in the attack.

However, after further investigation,  including witnesses interviews, detectives concluded that charges would not be filed at this time.
