Trump supporter's political sign set on fire feet from her home

WTHR – INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A Donald Trump supporter says someone put her family in danger over her support for the Republican presidential nominee.

It's no secret who Lydia Ladue wants to win. She's spelled it out with signs right on her Indianapolis mobile home.

"We need a change," said Ladue of her choice to support Donald Trump.

Not everyone agrees with her, though. That's something Ladue discovered early Saturday morning when she found someone had taken her Trump sign out of her window and burned it on the sidewalk, just feet away from her house. She found the burned up scraps lying on the sidewalk.

"A good gust of wind, you know, would have hit the dry leaves or my little scarecrow right here. It could have put the whole house on fire and that would have put everybody around us in jeopardy, and for a Trump sign," Ladue said, shaking her head.
