BB&T teams with Humankind to teach financial responsibility

LYNCHBURG (WSLS10) – Workers at BB&T held a Community Resource Fair in Lynchburg Saturday. Locals attended two workshops focusing on financial responsibility.

BB&T partnered with Humankind, a non profit that teaches life and employment skills to those with intellectual disabilities.

“I think it’s a very beneficial partnership the two goals are very similar,we’re trying to help people get a better economic footing and how to save and how to plan for the future,” Anna Jones with HumanKind said.

The BB&T Bus offered people the chance to get free credit reports.
