Government, School and Business leaders attend Grow Grayson Initiative

INDEPENDENCE (WSLS 10) – Business, government and school leaders came together for the first ever Grow Grayson Initiative on Thursday.

Members on the Grayson County Board of Supervisors and the business community took a tour of the Career and Technical Education Center. It’s a vocational school designed to train students in fields like nursing and car mechanics.

The goal is to connect students with potential employers in the future and have a strong workforce in the county.
