ROANOKE VALLEY (WSLS 10) - Drug Take Back Day events are tomorrow in many areas across Southwest Virginia.
It's a chance for you to safely get rid of any expired, unused, or unwanted prescription medications, to prevent drug abuse, accidental overdoses, theft and drug related crime.
All unwanted medications, except anything containing needles, can be dropped off.

Since the event started in 2010, more than ten tons of drugs have been taken off the street.
