By Emily Satchell – HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — One person was killed in a triple shooting in Hampton Wednesday night.
Dispatchers say they received a call about the incident at 9:42 p.m.

The shooting happened in the first block of Mariners Cove, at the Hampton Harbor Apartments. The complex is located near Hampton University, but is off campus.
The second victim suffered life-threatening injuries and the third person has non life-threatening injuries.

Police say this shooting appears to be an isolated incident, and not an active shooter situation.
This was the second shooting in Hampton on Wednesday. Earlier in the evening, a person was shot on Celey Street. That victim is expected to recover.
