Police investigating burglary at Roanoke’s Hilltop Restaurant

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) – Roanoke police are investigating a burglary that happened last week at the Hilltop Restaurant.

On October 13, at 7:02 a.m., police were called to the restaurant at 3132 Shenandoah Ave NW.

When officers arrived, they say they found evidence of forced entry into the business.

Restaurant staff told officers that cash and at least one other item belonging to restaurant had been taken, according to a press release from the police department.

Further investigation revealed that the burglary had taken place earlier that morning when two suspects entered the business.
