Flashing yellow turn arrows to be installed at several Danville intersections

DANVILLE (WSLS 10) – Several high-accident intersections in Danville could soon become safer.

City council is expected to appropriate $45,000 from VDOT to install flashing yellow left turn arrows at four intersections during Tuesday night’s meeting.

They will be installed at Franklin Turnpike and North Main Street, North Main Street and Seminole Drive, Central Boulevard and Broad Street as well as Central Boulevard and Watson Street.

They are expected to be installed by the end of the current fiscal year.
