SALEM (WSLS 10 SPORTS) – Glenvar was leading 7-3 at the half, battling with Auburn in a Three Rivers District dogfight.
Then Highlanders quarterback Jacob Mullins was crowned homecoming king and he responded to the delight of his royal subjects.
Mullins would put up and 11 for 17 in a 219-yard passing effort, throwing a pair of touchdowns in the second half.
He rushed for 79 yards on 10 carries as well, as the Highlanders pulled away in the half number two for a 30-3 win.
