Police: Danville store robbed at gunpoint

DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - Police say two men robbed a Danville store at gunpoint Wednesday night.

Danville Police Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at about 9:18 p.m on Wednesday, at Juniors Convenience Market in Danville.

Police say the store clerk said the two men robbed the store, on 2980 West Main Street, at gunpoint.

The clerk said one suspect stood in the doorway while the other approached the counter and pulled out a gun, demanding money.

Police say the clerk gave the armed suspect an undisclosed amount of money and both suspects ran away.

The armed suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5' 7 " wearing an orange mask. The other suspect was described as a 6' tall man wearing grey clothing.
