Sheriff's Office: Man surrenders after pulling gun on Franklin County deputy

FRANKLIN COUNTY (WSLS 10) - A man surrendered to authorities after barricading himself in a shed in Franklin County after pulling a gun on a deputy, according to Capt. Phillip Young with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office initially responded to the 700 block of Skillet Road for a reported domestic dispute shortly before 2 p.m.

After Young says the man pulled a gun on a deputy, the man then barricaded himself in a shed.

No shots were fired.

He surrendered himself at 3:12 p.m.

The woman involved in the domestic dispute is not in any danger.
