NASHVILLE, TENN. (MEDIA GENERAL)—No, it’s not a “Perfect Illusion,” a few lucky fans will get the chance to see Grammy-winning superstar Lady Gaga up-close-and-personal.

To promote her upcoming album, “Joanne,” the future Super Bowl halftime performer will take to a few smaller stages across the country on the Bud Light + Lady Gaga Dive Bar tour to showcase songs from the new record on Oct. 5, 20 and 27.

Until Wednesday, the cities and venue locations were kept secret.

But Nashvillians, who are certainly no stranger to spotting famous musicians around town, knew something was up yesterday when a barrage of trucks appeared outside East Nashville’s 5 Spot, a popular filming location for the ABC hit, “Nashville.”

Gaga took to social media today to confirm the show, also revealing the new track, “Million Reason,” she will debut for the intimate crowd.

According to WKRN, Gaga even took some time to greet fans outside the venue before the show.

But don’t worry if you can’t make it, or get into, the ultra-exclusive showcase—the performances will also stream live on Gaga’s Facebook page.

Gaga decided to go with these more intimate settings rather than her usual arena shows to highlight the “raw Americana” vibe of the upcoming record.

In her announcement on Apple Radio’s Beats 1, the pop songstress stressed how different the album would be from her previous work, spanning rock, pop, country and funk.

The record also has a personal connection to Gaga, who named the album after her late aunt and namesake, Joanne Stefani Germanotta, who died of lupus when she was 19.

She also collaborated with a wide range of songwriters and producers, including Mark Ronson, Beck, Florence Welch, Father John Misty, Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, and Nashville songwriter Hillary Lindsey, known for penning Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush” and Carrie Underwood’s “Jesus Take the Wheel.”

While Gaga is undoubtedly proud of her upcoming release, it will be interesting to see how her fans respond in the months leading up to her Super Bowl performance.

The first single from the album, “Perfect Illusion,” released on Sept. 9, debuted at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100, falling in subsequent weeks.

Whereas both lead singles from her previous releases, “ARTPOP” and “Born This Way” both debuted and peaked in the top 10.

“Joanne” will be available on Oct. 21 wherever music is sold.
