#25 Virginia Tech talks ACC Coastal battle at #17 UNC

BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10 SPORTS) - Virginia Tech is fresh off a bye week and just broke into the AP top 25 but the road only gets harder for the Hokies as they face #17 UNC who just picked up a big win over a ranked Florida State team.

"We've got a tremendous challenge in front of us. North Carolina it's coming off two huge victories, they're all big, but too close games. Two hard-fought victories and not a lot of people go down to Tallahassee and come away with a win it's a big feather in their cap. Congratulations to them and we've got a tremendous amount of work to do in order to get ready to go down there and play them," said Hokies head coach Justin Fuente.

"The greater the challenge the bigger the reward so I'm glad they won I hope they go in there feeling confident. I don't think they have a whole lot of respect for us, so I feel like the more confident they are feeling the better chance we have of posting an upset," said offensive lineman Augie Conte.

The Hokies defense only allowed 17 points over the last two game but the Tar Heels averaged 40 points per game putting more pressure on Bud Foster the crew.

"I feel that right now we're kind of executing but there's a lot more we still have to work on a lot of different little things that we can make a lot better to eliminate a lot more error," cornerback Chuck Clark explained.

One of the Hokies goals the season was to make it to the conference championship game and a win in Chapel Hill Saturday against an ACC Coastal foe it's crucial to helping them get there.
