Orlando to Host ACC Title Game

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WSLS 10 SPORTS) -

Thursday the ACC announced that the Dr. Pepper ACC Football Championship will be held at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.This comes after the conference relocated from Charlotte, following the signing of its controversial HB2 law.

The game will remain scheduled for December the 3rd with tickets going on sale to the public on October 10 at 10 a.m. This will be the sixth time the game has been played in Florida. Jacksonville hosted the first three years (2005-07) while Tampa held the game in 2008 and 2009.

Camping World Stadium underwent a $208 million dollar renovation that was completed in April 2015. Among its amenities are nearly 40,000 lower bowl seats with six additional inches of legroom and individual chair backs. Multiple video displays, additional restrooms, concessions and vertical transportation.

The stadium currently serves as the host venue for the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl and the Russel Athletic Bowl.
